This programme is a creative blend of Animation and Motion Design disciplines. It is this combination that enables students to develop, merge, and present original visuals and narratives in innovative ways. While animation primarily aims to entertain—and can also inform—motion design is typically informative, though it may also entertain.
The programme nurtures creative individuals with the artistic vision and technical skills to produce diverse screen content for film, television, streaming platforms, and commercial environments. Students are provided with a platform to explore and develop their ideas, concepts, and technical abilities through challenging, creative briefs and exercises. These briefs are structured yet flexible, encouraging a hybrid approach that combines physical and digital art, as well as 2D and 3D elements. The course supports physical art-making with an emphasis on creation rather than passive discovery. Drawing is a core component throughout all years of study.
