Sly & Roach is a 2D digital animation following two superhero characters in their efforts to pay their rent and not get evicted. They’re a couple of down-on-their-luck flatmates who take drastic steps to keep their home.
For the most part, we are all trying to succeed in life, trying to overcome the hurdles and learn from our failures that we often encounter. Even with our failures and shortcomings we can still be of value, succeed in different areas and have the chance to try and try again.
Sly & Roach takes influences from both action movies of the 80’s and modern superhero action movies. There’s violence, high stakes, witty humour and a person in need of heroes to save the day.
Overall, Sly and Roach is a love letter to action movies and the superhero genre with its own unique twist. It’s also not afraid to show that its heroes are just like the everyday person struggling through life and figuring things out.
