Lumo is a 3D CGI animated short created as part of my final year of my B.Sc. in Digital Animation Production at LIT Clonmel. It was entirely created by myself using Maya 2016, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.

The short is about a droid stranded on a deserted alien planet after a space battle who is trying to find a working power core to reactivate his ship and return to orbit. Searching the surrounding wrecks, it finds a functioning core, but realises it is being protected by an enemy drone. They fight over the core, only to end up in a situation where neither can reach it without the other’s help. Will they work together?
