Sustainable Tension

My practice is influenced by my interest in industrial ecology and the possible alternative to produce a sustainable form of living. Creating sculptures inspired by architectural forms integrating recycled and eco-friendly building materials, I challenge the boundaries of what we perceive as structurally sound while pushing these common eco-friendly building materials beyond their manufactured functional properties.
