As a ceramic designer my work is primarily influenced by function and how objects serve us and our homes. The philosophy of my creative process can be described as “an appreciation of everyday objects.” It is my goal to enhance domestic environments and recentre functionality in these spaces.I follow a self-created set of design principles in order to achieve my aims. These design principles are stackability, interchangeability and versatility. I have designed and realised a collection of objects for everyday use, parred down to three multifunctional forms. These forms are intentionally kept simple and imbued with a playful colour palette rejecting the notion that simplicity ought to be serious.
