LIMBO
Limbo is a 2D animated short. It follows the story of Jake who has found himself in a purgatory where souls are left to battle their way into the afterlife. Upon his arrival Jake accidentally stirs up a fight, soon after he realised that the person that came to his rescue is someone he used to look up to as a child.
I created LIMBO to experience the challenges of creating a personal animated film. As a one-person team I am proud of creating the story, character designs, 3D model of the scene, animation, and compositing. All animation was produced using Toon Boom Harmony. The background Layouts were created in 3D software MAYA. Character designs were drawn in Clip Studio Paint and all compositing was done using Adobe After Effects CC.
