Fruitless

Fruitless is the story of a baby bat learning how to grow up. He lives in a tree hollow with his Dad, but he’s too afraid to ever step outside the safety of his home. When they run out of food it’s up to Daddy Bat to leave and find fruit for them to eat. Daddy Bat has warned Baby Bat that he won’t always be there to provide for them and that Baby Bat needs to learn to look after himself, but he never listens. When the baby bat wakes up one day to find his Dad has gone missing, he is faced with a choice – hide and hope his Dad finds his way home before the food runs out, or face his fears and brave the world outside his tree.
