The images attached to this submission are examples of work I produced for my final year film “Stairs to Serenity”.  These still images and screenshots illustrate the visual style of the animated short and they demonstrate my skills as a background designer.

The show-reel contains a number of shots from the film also.  They are fully animated and composited to a high standard.  These shots act as a sneak-peek into the concept and design of the film.

“Stairs to Serenity” is a story about a young man, named Dave, who suffers from multiple mental disorders, including depression and anxiety.  He leads a dull, mundane lifestyle. One night, he experiences a surreal dream which inspires him to take control of his life and well-being.  In this dream he meets an intriguing, beautiful woman who acts as a representation of serenity he seeks.  He also faces up his mental disorders.

The show-reel also displays examples of other successful team project, as well as individual, work I have produced during my years in Digital Animation Production course.  It includes examples of animation, illustration, background design, 3D modelling, digital painting and character design work.
