"Where is the Grass Greener?"
“Where Is the Grass Greener?” explores the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural duality through layered installation and mixed media. Drawing from my experience as a Lithuanian immigrant in Ireland, the work reflects on memory, displacement, and the quiet tensions of assimilation. Using personal materials such as repurposed fabrics, lace, photographs, and fragments collected over time—I create immersive environments that blur the line between public and private. This project doesn’t offer fixed answers, but invites viewers to reflect on what we carry, what we leave behind, and how identity is constantly reshaped in the in-between spaces.
