“Rig” is set in a mysterious world where humanity appears to have lost control.

The story centres on a young woman trapped on a dark, damp oil rig, working day after day under the rule of an unseen overseer. She keeps her head down, trying to remain invisible in a place where insubordination always means punishment, or worse. But everything changes when she witnesses a robot guard attacking another worker. Driven by a sudden surge of courage, she intervenes, drawing dangerous attention to herself.

In her desperate attempt to escape, she stumbles into a long-forgotten warehouse deep beneath the rig. There, she makes a life changing discovery: a massive, broken-down robot. Realizing this could be her only chance at freedom, she utilises her skills and determination to repair the machine, clinging to the hope that it could be her way out.

At its core, Rig is a story about resilience and the ability to persevere through hardship, even when you’re armed with nothing but intelligence, determination and hope.
