A Never-ending Feeling
The reason for this project was that it was a part of my Music Production module where we had to create a song from scratch. Before we began working on the song we had to first think of a saying or a sentence. I chose “A never ending feeling” and from that I began trying out musical ideas. We were given complete artistic control over the song as long as we showed reasons for it. I had never created a full song myself, I played in all of the instruments on my MIDI keyboard and I listened to my lecturers feedback and adjusted accordingly. I tend to lean towards sad sounding songs so it was no surprise for my lecturer and my classmates that the final song was “sad”. I am very happy with the overall sound of this song.
