The Morning Routine
Looking at the everyday routine from minute of awaking up to the minute of stepping out of the house for the starting of the day. Using photography to explore the routes through the bedroom, bathroom, or kitchen identifying the key area and developing a design that will fit an A4 lino block and contain 3 colours. The inclusion of textural and pattered areas that enhance the detailed design through the carving of the lino block and layering of the different colours. Throughout the printing process the exploration of using different colour grounds was applied during the printing process and allowed for a more varied finished print.
