The concept for this song was to make a natural nostalgic sounding song containing intentional fault to make it sound very human embracing the little mistakes a young musician would make while practicing

almost if to invoke a nostalgic feeling in a musician to the days when they just started. I have to come to learn since I started my studies that perfection is not built into even the most talented musician so I wanted to make something that embraced this. I took inspiration from video game music while making this composition.

My strategy was to make a riff and only make some slight changes keeping to the same few notes without too much deviation from them and place the patterns in such a way it was not fully in time with the different parts not always fully aligning. I think helped it make it more human-sounding as most producers when making music would attempt to align everything perfectly.

Making this I think made me more comfortable with allowing human mistakes in my music as I made something I was happy with that before I would have thought of as not good enough to be released or heard.
