It’s Okay
A moment in the lives of an elderly couple whose love persists in the face of illness.
Project Rationale: This project was inspired by a piece of music my partner composed a few years ago. I thought the song was so beautiful and as I listened, I started to piece together a narrative about an elderly couple, their love, and the difficulties they face together. I wanted to highlight how even when you or the people you care about are struggling, you can find moments of joy amidst the pain and love in the darkness. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in character, prop, and background design, but for my final year project I really wanted to create a film, start to finish, to give myself an idea of every aspect of film production. I wanted to understand exactly what is required to bring a project from a concept all the way through to a completed movie. I worked very hard on this film and I hope you enjoy it.
