Parameters for Compromise

Objects both structural and seemingly organic interrogate the relationship of materiality and the body.

Geometric structure serves as the logical and linear both within the narrative of production and in physical manifestation. It acts as a set of parameters imposed upon independent materials, causing a conflict of aesthetics and placing inherent qualities of ageing, exchanging and expanding within a language of systems.

Tensely held in balance, the objects access time, space and gravity through the conflicts of materiality taking place. At times adherent at times resistant, the moment of encounter between sculpture and the body is weighted by a shared relationship to the systems of a physical existence.
