“A Tea Reverie”
A Tea Reverie is a mixed media short film that tells the whimsical story of a young woman who lived in a seemingly dull world, who after a picnic experiences a world full of vibrant colours. After she drinks tea containing hallucinogenic honey, curiosity and wonder start to fill her mind, leading her to run through the forest and revel in its enchanting beauty.
I wanted to create a visually pleasing film that people would enjoy watching, whilst also challenging myself by directing, producing, editing, and animating. With the animation I really wanted to experiment with different mediums, some of which include paint, pencil, tape, buttons, and stickers.
