SEVEN

‘If we have desires, we are expected to conceal them, to control them, to keep ourselves in check.’ Laurie Penny ‘Sex, Lies and Revolution’

This work is a series of conflict. It stems from a contextual study of Sin, as applicable to my experience of each in the modern day. Private reflection and public collaboration have become conflicting foundations for the narratives of passive aggression, seduction, subjectivity, indulgence, want, intent and vainglory. I have used myself as the artist and medium to portray these intimacies on a simple, relatable level.
