Beetle Knight
Beetle Knight is a 2D hand drawn animated film that has been a work of love and passion. The story takes place in a kingdom of insects, where a stag beetle is trying to become a full-fledged knight. Igor, our lovely boy, takes on the challenge of defeating a threat to the kingdom he protects in hopes he can be counted an equal among his peers. His goal is too defeat a frog, a natural enemy to the insect citizens, but what he comes across is a lot different than he anticipated and Igor must face a difficult decision. Will he follow his heart?
The film is 2 minutes 40 seconds long and encompasses my love for insects in its entirety with the creation of a fun and colourful world. It is also a tribute to my flower beetle I have kept for months before it passed away.
