‘Unexpected’ is a short film of friendship, between two female characters. It is a simple story of a socially anxious character who is always alone and lonely until one day, a new student who is more enthusiastic with a more outgoing personality breaks into her world…

The goal is to explore how we can tell a simple story with limited dialogues, through cinematography, editing and the use of music.

Memory Lane

Two childhoods best friends get lunch together every week. They have a bad day and decide to go back and visit their hometown and look back at their memories together. Through visiting old landmarks and being reminded of times, they shared and found out a lot about themselves, how far they’ve come and what they want to move forward in life.
