Waiting For

The purpose of this installation piece is have people’s movements in a space be connected to visuals projected into that space, creating a feedback loop of peoples movement and captured movement playing over each other. Mirroring the real world and the digital on top of each other so people can judge both in real time.

Often times our actions in the real world and the digital are separated, this piece aims to blur the line between the two spaces so that some one can judge both at the same time.

This investigation around the connection between the movement of the human body in the real world and how machines interpret that movement into the digital space is important. Seeing how machines interpret the movement of the human body and convert this collected data into visual projections can help you understand how your actions in the real world, such as movement, can affect the digital world.
