Studio One Dance

Studio One Dance aims to establish a communal space for young individuals aged 5 -25, who have a passion for dancing and beginners who wish to develop their skills. The concept is to showcase the essence of grace and rhythm through a dancer’s body, capturing the fluidity and movement around the space.

The goal is to provide a social space for young individuals to immerse themselves in the art of movement and emotional expression.  Design will prioritise an open and spacious layout to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. The studio will have dedicated rehearsal studios equipped with the necessary gear. A rehabilitation area will be provided for all studio members, focusing on their physical health. The performance stage is a focal point of the studio where dancers will showcase their talents, inviting their families and friends to share their dance performances, fully accessible for both members and visitors. One Dance will be an artistic exploration where each movement tells a unique story about the soul of dance.

Constructed in 1899, the historic Bank Building situated in the heart of Belfast City on Castle Street possessing a classical design, featuring an iron structure covered in red Dumfries stone on the facade, will be the home of One Dance.
