This collection is based on my childhood love
of storybooks focusing on the tale of Alice in wonderland. A book that was given to me by my grandparents for a childhood birthday it became a night time read as my imagination wandered into the depths of wonderland.
Focusing on Alice as she falls down the rabbit hole I want to capture the surreal nature of the book as she loses her grasp on reality and her concept of time runs astray when she meets the mad hatter and friends for tea. Through my use of fabrics
and textures I hope to create something that is both bonkers and magical and captures you in the madness of another surreal world.
