I Dwell in the City and the City Dwells in Me

By creating sculptural artworks which encompass both construction and destruction, I reveal the outcome of juxtaposing these two themes. My work is heavily influenced by time, metamorphosis, and construction processes.
Often inspired by the area where I live, I abstract the matter of urban life and translate this into my sculptures and installations by referencing architecture, construction, and derelict sites.

By using ordinary industrial materials and processes I give my subject a presence which is not usually acknowledged in everyday scenarios.
