My 2D animated short follows an old man named Frank. Frank lives in a rundown house that he has really let go over the years. He comes across a flier for a gardening competition and this gives him hope that he can win and improve his way of living. After a number of failed attempts Frank loses the will to try any more but gets an idea that could change everything.
The short was animated and composited using Toon Boom Harmony. Backgrounds were illustrated in Photoshop.
