My enquiry originated from a fascination with insects and a personal love of drawing. These hollow vessels with round segmented divisions have evolved from my exploration of the qualities in drawings, both two and three-dimensional, of insects and related natural forms. Fragility, weight and structure inform my approach to materials and processes.
