ASCEND DESCEND
The concept behind the collection was to explore the suspense between life’s achievements and disappointments with inspiration taken from the sculptor Do-ho Suh. To capture the illusion of suspension with the ascension and dissension
of the staircase to represent the journey of life. The collection is constructed in a combination of bonded woven fabrics, bonded synthetics and moulded acetate.
Winner of the Student Designer of the Year Award, Golden Egg Irish Fashion Innovation Awards 2015.
