My childhood was spent exploring the ‘girlie’ delights of playing dress-up and styling Barbie, and moving forward to the more recent buzz of working in a boutique, my work reflects my on-going enthusiasm for fashion. Using the human form as my canvas, I build perceptions.
Stacked plates, their relative sizes informed by the proportions of the body, provide me with a canvas to explore perceptions through the themes of styling, colour, pattern, toying with the classic, the transient, the flamboyant and the exaggerated.
