Ten Years and One Day
The relationship with two men was slowly revealed over the script rather than being explained at the start. I wanted people to be interested in how these men knew each other and why they hated each other so much. But I didn’t want to show my entire hand in one go, so I chose instead to slowly reveal the details of their lives and how they knew each other and why Connor was so intent on killing Eric. I believe this makes the viewer more invested in the short film and more willing to watch it through to find out why these men hate each other and what’s going to happen.
