Working Well Strategy

As 40% of mental well-being is based on activity, our time at work attributes greatly to our positive or negative mental state of mind. Environmental and cultural norms all have impact on our mental state at work. This brief investigated achievable goals to promote an awareness to employers, with the intention to create positive affirmation at work and comradery. This is an element of the overall strategy whereby inspiring quotes and messages are delivered via paper cups generating empowerment and conversation. In appreciation, gifts are given in the form of notebooks, porcelain mugs, and pencils. Pencils contain herb seeds, encouraging home cooking and care.

Since coming to LSAD I’ve become more aware of the role of design in social and cultural issues. Methods of teaching have opened my design thinking especially typographically. I hope to pursue studies further in education, with a deeper interest in photography and the visual messages young people respond to.
