The final year project by the ‘Heretics’ called ‘No Gods Here’ is a fast paced Hack & Slash Action Adventure game taking place in the Ardua mountains where you step into the shoes of ‘Nex’, the protagonist who is on his way to fight his father Set, for ripping his six wings off. However before he gets to fight Set, he must first fight his minions in the form of Ice mummies in two levels before the boss battle. These two levels are the onboarding process for the player as they learn the game’s controls. The player will then face a ‘hopeless boss battle’ which is not uncommon in games, the player loses and is thrown off a cliff which is where the playable game slice will end. The boss fight is bookended by two in engine cutscenes.
