A, R and B materialise structurally as large format drawings in found wood, screws, bolts and bits of tape.
ARB contemplates theory of form from a perspective and methodology that leans into ambivalence. This ambivalence is realised through methods of construction, revealing both contradiction and paradox in the personification of space, or pursuit of such. A, R and B are a precarious family set, as they share a strong relationship in form and ratio identity, while simultaneously they struggle to become secure in their reasoning or bargaining in the space that they occupy. The inputs that inform the set’s manifestation are subjects drawn from life. Interiority as a suggestion in form that acts as a catalyst for narrative, which can be therefore induced and perceived from the materials at hand.
