Converge in essence means for two to meet at a point.
When we find ourselves caught in moments of the mundane, the space becomes available to engage with one’s own personal journey. Within the vacuums of space and time where the hustle and bustle of life halts to standstill. We find in these moments in-between where we become most connected and aware of ourselves and our dynamic with part of ourselves. Every individuals’ openness to engage with our own internal dialogue differs.
So, What happens when a persistent force meets an equally stubborn object? At the standstill of a physical journey within a confined train carriage, one individual’s resistance is challenged by antics of their accompanying, ‘familiar faced’ companion.
This piece came to fruition from the desire to dive into that very unknown, relinquishing control allowing whatever the creative energy manifested as. The narrative, visuals, colours and sound all coming together independently to form the piece. Each element interconnected through this thread.
