Capstone title : 4 track punk EP (Class Act)
The reason on why I chose to base my final year Capstone project on doing a punk EP is that I’ve always been interested in what makes a great song so good, I chose to do it in the genre of punk is because ever since I was young my older brother would always be playing this loud punk music in his room and we would spend all of our free time after school listening to the same Blink 182, Sum 41, Wheatus and bowling for soup albums on our CDs.
I wanted to record and mix the tracks myself as that was partially the reason why I joined this course in the first place, I always find myself most at peace when making music and coming up with ideas for a catchy hook or a powerful guitar lead.
