A Mother’s Worry

My film ‘A Mother’s Worry’ is a rotoscope animation about the worries and struggles mother’s goes through in their lifetime. It is a story about one specific mother and daughter and shows the worries of that mother for each milestone the daughter has. The worries are represented by bricks on the mother’s shoulder and when the daughter grows up, she finally realises what her mother has gone through. The daughter then helps her mother to remove some of her worries. I made this film for my mother who really inspired me, and I wanted her to know that she doesn’t need to worry about me anymore and I will always try to take her worries away.

This film was created using the Adobe Suite software. Each character was drawn frame by frame in Photoshop to make the movements and emotions more realistic. It is a family-friendly movie that I hope would be enjoyed by all ages and teach young people a valuable lesson.
