The game follows, Luchog, a small field mouse that takes shelter from a storm in an old Victorian house only to find himself trapped inside, To escape, he must navigate the open rooms of the house and hidden 2D setions within the walls which he uses to get to previously inaccessible areas. As he explores the house he uncovers the dark secrets of the family who once lived there, and slowly pieces together the mystery of what cursed the house.
The setting drew inspiration from the unsettling rather than shocking horror. The story unfolds through environmental storytelling, hints left behind by the house’s occupands and cutscenes guiding the player.
