Digital Arts Investigation - How NFTs & AI Generated Art Will Impact Creative Students

These three videos were made with the intent to educate Creative Students about NFTs, AI-Generated Artwork, and hopefully alleviate fears those students have in relation how they will impact their future job prospects.  

Each video has been kept as short as possible without sacrificing valid information. It was a challenge balancing the time I needed to give to each video (storyboarding, script writing, asset creation, audio editing, voice-over, animations, and more).  

Using my skills in Instructional Design and Motion/Graphic Design, I was able to navigate specific pitfalls such as viewer engagement throughout the videos by borrowing from Merrill’s Principles – focusing on a problem, demonstrating the basics of each topic (through straight-forward animations and step-by-step walkthroughs), and explaining how they can potentially integrate these methods into their skillsets if needed. In fact, giving these students (and non-creatives) this extra knowledge of how to stay ahead is my main goal. I want people to be as prepared as possible given the rapidly evolving nature of A-centric software/applications (Midjourney and ChatGPT) in particular. Creatives in general are constantly facing an uphill battle regarding pay scale and more importantly, respect and with the right information that can change.
