With the rapid rise of personal audio device usage, especially among younger generations, the risks of prolonged exposure to high noise levels are being dangerously overlooked. Headphone volumes frequently exceed safe thresholds posing a serious threat of irreversible hearing damage. Despite the growing concern among health professionals, awareness remains low, particularly among Gen Z and Millennials who rely heavily on headphones during daily activities like commuting, gaming, and exercising.
The Hit Pause on Hearing Loss campaign seeks to disrupt that trend by delivering a bold and visually distinctive awareness initiative aimed at educating and influencing listening habits. This project is centered around a bold, stylized animation designed to capture the attention of Gen Z and Millennials. Animation serves as the core storytelling tool, making health information more engaging, accesible and memorable. Through dynamic visuals and a claymation-style character, the campaign connects with younger audiences in a relatable and impactful way.
Ultimately, this project aims not only to inform but to shift attitudes and behaviors—making safe listening a conscious, everyday choice.
