Between Destinations is a photography book that captures the essence of travel through the lens of my camera. The images featured in the book were taken during my trips to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, showcasing the unique landscapes, cultures, and people I encountered along the way.
To complement the visual storytelling of the photographs, I have paired them with an essay by Pico Lyre titled “Why We Travel,” which explores the deeper motivations behind our desire to explore the world. Additionally, I have included a poem called “Questions of Travel” by Elizabeth Bishop, which prompts readers to consider the transformative power of travel and the ways in which it shapes our perception of the world.
Through this book, I hope to inspire others to explore the world and embrace the journey between destinations. Whether it’s to broaden our horizons, escape our daily routines, or simply experience the beauty of the world, travel has the power to enrich our lives and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
